Critical Section - People over 30 should be dead - According to today's regulators and bureaucrats, those of us who were kids in the 40's, 50's, 60's, or even maybe the early 70's probably shouldn't have survived.
To some extent this follows through the 80s as well. It wasn't until the 90s that things really seemed to go fucking crazy. Some things really are different now, though. Which is a pity.
I'm reminded of something a friend said a while back - he can't stand the way kids are wrapped in the proverbial cotton wool. He's a teacher, so he really sees what kids are like. You've got to let them fall down; so you can pick them up, dust them off and send them on their way.
