- Slashdot | Record Industry Sues 532 More U.S. File-Sharers. I wonder how many 12yo users they've hit up this time.
- Slashdot | Opera Promises Voice-Operated Web Browser. Particularly good for anyone who finds it hard or impossible to use a standard mouse/keyboard; probably not too useful to most other users. The flip side is that some people would respond better to computers if they were more "human". Being able to talk to the browser heads in that direction. The technology isn't really new, just applied in a new way.
- Slashdot | Gimp Hits 2.0. GIMP, for the unitiated, is an open-source image editor. A lot like Photoshop.
