NEWS.com.au | Journalist killed during live report (September 13, 2004): A PALESTINIAN television journalist was killed today as he was giving a live report to camera on deadly clashes between US forces and insurgents in the heart of the Iraqi capital. This is the difference between "collateral damage" and the grisly death of a non-combatant. You can't dehumanise the victim when they get killed on a live TV feed.
